Hilary Swank has purchased the rights to Emily Giffin’s novel, "Something Borrowed," and its sequel “Something Blue.”The Oscar winning actress and her producing associate, Molly Smith, are planning to take the book to the big screen with their company 2S Films, reports Variety. It is also said that Swank is likely to star in the rom-com about a Manhattan attorney, who has an affair with her best friend’s husband shortly after she turns 30.

Hilary Swank might play the lead role in a film adaption of the bestseller 'French Women Don't Get Fat'. The actress’ production company has bought the rights to the book, and Swank is thinking to star the movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The worldwide famous book, which was presented at Oprah Winfrey’s talk show among other TV specials, tells the secrets of French ladies to stay in shape despite eating unhealthy food. According to a release from Swank's company 2S Films, the new movie will be a romantic comedy about a "girl-next-door champagne company middle manager who learns some tough life lessons which help her become the woman she's always wanted to be"
